As a Commis Chef reporting to the Head Chef, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality food service and meal preparation within our home. Working closely with other service teams, you'll achieve the highest service standards and ensure our residents' culinary experience is exceptional.
What we're looking for:
NVQ Level 3 in Food Hygiene – your expertise in food safety is highly valued.
A minimum of two years' catering background – your experience is our asset.
Kitchen environment experience – bring your culinary flair to our team.
Health & Safety knowledge – ensuring a safe working environment is a priority.
Proven track record in a care home environment (desirable) – a passion for caring for others.
Strong leadership and management skills – empowering and supporting our service team.
Excellent communication skills – your words and actions make a difference.
Tech-savvy – familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Windows based operating environments.
Reliability and punctuality – we value your commitment to our residents.
