The Role:

As a Lifestyles Lead, you'll be at the heart of creating, organising, and providing a varied and appropriate programme of activities for our residents. Your role is vital in ensuring that our residents lead healthier, more independent, and fulfilling lives. You'll work closely with residents, relatives, friends, and colleagues to understand their needs, interests, and abilities, and tailor activities accordingly. Your creativity, initiative, and passion for making a difference will shine through in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme of Activities: Create and organise a diverse range of activities based on the needs, wishes, and desires of our residents.
  • Resident Engagement: Liaise with residents, relatives, and colleagues to encourage involvement in planned activities and promote social interaction.
  • Making a Difference: Every interaction with our residents is an opportunity to make a positive impact and enhance their quality of life.
  • Collaboration: Work as part of a supportive team, sharing ideas and initiatives to continuously improve our residents' experiences.
  • Flexibility: Be adaptable and willing to work flexibly according to planned activities and residents' preferences.

What You'll Need:

  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating your ability to positively influence others and communicate effectively with residents.
  • Empathy and Compassion: A natural ability to build rapport, understand residents' needs, and compile social care plans to support them.
  • Initiative and Creativity: Bring your creativity and initiative to the role, constantly seeking new ways to enhance our residents' lives.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and retain information accurately.
  • Passion for Care: Above all, you have a genuine passion for helping others lead fulfilling lives and thrive in an environment where every day is varied and rewarding.
